Anyway I discovered mug cakes for me! I just love them. You can make them in so many diffrent variations. Chocolate, cinnamon, apple, banana, vanilla, peanutbutter and so on.
I basically just have a look which ingredients I have in my cupboard. Then I just throw everything in my mug wisk it a bit together. Off in the microwave it goes. It’s so easy and so yummy !!
When I was in New Zealand some girls and I went to this cute little restaurant in Hamilton every tuesday night. Cause tuesday nights they have dessert night! That means all Desserts half Price !!! And they have so many diffrent, yummy things you just want to try all! Chocolate brownies, Cocolate cake, Chocolate Fondue, Cheese cake, Icecream variations and more. and then there was the chocolate overload…
The chocolate overlod is basically all desserts in one! And because I love chocolate so much my best friend and I took the chocolate overload. It’s really filling and we couldn’t eat all up, but it was sooo delish!!
Today I’ve got another Comfort Food for you! It’s one of the oldest Danish dishes from the middle of the18th century. There are different types of recipes that are prepared locally – and in its own style and variation.
Both have the two basic elements in the dish areapplesand thick slices ofstreaky pork– which at that time either was preserved bysmoking,salting or air-drying, to last for over one year. When the industrialisation period started in the19th century-and many peasants moved to the bigger cities for work – the“Æbleflæsk”dish followed with the new inhabitants – and slowly theApple Porkbecame very popular among them too.
Today the tasty and mouth watering“Æbleflæsk”is turned into a national winter supplement and recipe – that is enjoyed by nearly every Dane at wintertime – especially at Christmas time.
